7-week Intensive Full-time

The summer intensive course is ideal for teachers who want to immerse themselves in the Delta. It’s full-time and challenging but brings with it huge rewards.

Module 2, taken part-time, requires a lot of arranging and coordinating with tutors and assessors. With the summer intensive at International House, everything is done for you (except the teaching, of course).

The course runs for 7 weeks Monday to Friday 10am-6pm.

16-week 100% Online Part-time

This 16 week online course will give the trainees the opportunity of teaching their own students (classes can be arranged by IH Izmir if it’s needed). Whether you are teaching face-to-face or online, video observations will be arranged throughout the course which means that you DON’T need to nominate a local tutor to observe and assess your teaching practice.

The course has a very flexible timetable as every trainee will be getting an individual consultation from the tutors and this can be arranged depending on the availability of both the tutor and the trainee. The trainees can continue the course at their own pace as long as they finish each LSA end of every 4 weeks and take the necessary input every week.

Trainees will receive both synchronous and a-synchronous input throughout the course. Input may be in the form of live sessions hosted on a platform such as Zoom, or Moodle based sessions with trainees collaboratively working on documents, presentations, or materials.

Most of the input sessions will be given on Saturdays.
